HANDS ON CONDUCTIVE KERATOPLASTY COURSE

Refractec (USA) and Dr.Agarwal's group of eye hospitals (India) have tied up to have a hands on conductive keratoplasty course. this course will be for a week and will be in Chennai (Madras), India. The course is for a duration of a week. During this time lectures will be given to teach and understand how conductive keratoplasty is done in various conditions. One will also be taught how to use the Orbscan to understand this procedure. The delegate will be allowed to do CK in 5 eyes. one will be taught to do CK in emmetropic presbyopic eyes, hyperopic presbyopic eyes and also post cataract eyes.

PHAKIC IOL (ICL) TRAINING COURSE

This is an advanced course for good surgeons. The surgeon will be taught how to implant the ICL (Staar). Toric and plane ICL implantation will be taught. One will also be taught how to work up the patients with the Orbscan. The ICL course duration is for a week.
