About
Dr Karishma has done her MBBS from M. S. Ramaiah medical College, Diploma in ophthalmology from MVJ medical college, fellowship in comprehensive ophthalmology from Bangalore West lions eye hospital in Bangalore, followed by DNB at Aditya Jyot in Mumbai. She then went to Sushrut eye hospital, Kolkata for a fellowship in Phaco emulsification cataract surgery. She worked for several years at lokmanya tilak municipal hospital, Sion and D.Y.Patil medical College, Nerul after which she went back to Bangalore to pursue a fellowship in glaucoma at Nethradhama super speciality eye hospital.
She has a keen interest in teaching, and has presented in multiple conferences. After working at the above diverse set ups, she is currently a full time glaucoma consultant and general ophthalmologist at Aditya Jyot/Agarwal eye hospital.
