Treatment Procedures

  • Blepharoplasty
This is a surgical procedure done by a blepharoplasty surgeon to treat tired appearing, hooded or baggy eyelids. It involves the removal of excess tissue – skin, muscle, and sometimes fat, from the upper and/or lower eyelids. It improves the cosmetic appearance and increases the visual field.

  • Dermal Fillers
A filler is an injection used to restore facial volume and youthful appearance. It is injected into the depressions below the eyes; the static lines between the nose and the mouth (nasolabial folds), around the lips, forehead, and eyes, into thin lips, and also for facial contouring. Injections are almost painless as fine needles are used, and an anesthetic cream is applied before the procedure. These can be done in an outpatient clinic.

  • Ptosis Treatment
Eyelid Ptosis is drooping of the upper eyelid, making the involved eye appear smaller. In severe ptosis, patients have to tilt their head back, or lift the eyelid with a finger, in order to see well. This condition can be present since birth or appear later in life. This condition requires correction such as ptosis surgery or ptosis treatment at an early age to avoid permanent defects in vision.
