Dr. Tanushree Chatterjee is a highly skilled ophthalmic surgeon with over 8 years of experience in cataract, refractive, and glaucoma surgery. She currently serves as the Head of Clinical Services at Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital, Kolkata, and is known for her precision, patient-focused care, and surgical excellence. After completing her MBBS and postgraduate training in Ophthalmology, she pursued advanced fellowships in Comprehensive Ophthalmology and Refractive Surgery, with specialized training in SMILE surgery under the internationally renowned Dr. Rupal Shah. Dr. Chatterjee has successfully performed 11,000+ topical phacoemulsification cataract surgeries, 4,000+ complex cataract and glaucoma procedures, and 500+ refractive surgeries, including LASIK, PRK, and Phakic IOL implantation. She also has expertise in oculoplastic (eyelid) surgery and modern minimally invasive glaucoma procedures.
