Graduated from MS Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore. Completed Post graduation from Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital and Gandhi Medical College, Hyderabad in 2008, followed by Secondary DNB residency at LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad in 2011. Cleared Fellowship in International Council of Ophthalmology advanced in 2014, and Refractive surgery training in 2015. Have worked as a phaco and anterior segment surgeon in various organizations operating above 10,000 cataracts including different varieties of complicated cases like small pupils, pseudoexfoliation, uveitis, cataracts, etc.

• Awarded the Best paper in P.G. competitive session for the paper “Periorbital Biometric Measurements: Standardization of Measurement and Assessment of Intra and Inter-observer Variability using Image - APOC 2010
• Third prize in the post graduate quiz - APOC 2010
• Eye-PEP 2009- Third prize in the Post Graduate lecture completion
• Eye-PEP 2010 - Third prize in OSCE
