Dr. Divya Agarwal

Dr. Divya Agarwal is a Senior Consultant Ophthalmologist specializing in Cataract, Refractive Surgery and Glaucoma management. With over 13 years of experience she brings extensive clinical and surgical expertise to the comprehensive management of a wide range of ophthalmic conditions. An alumnus of the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune, she cleared her Ophthalmology exams with a Distinction and went for Post graduation (MS) from Guru Nanak Eye Centre, Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), New Delhi. She combines a strong academic foundation with significant experience in delivering high-quality, technology-driven eye care.

Her surgical expertise encompasses advanced cataract and refractive procedures. Dr. Agarwal has extensive experience from having worked equally in the Government and private scetors, in managing routine and complex cataract cases, including premium intraocular lens implantation with multifocal, personalised toric lenses and is certified and trained in the Robotic Femtosecond assisted cataract surgery (FLACS) for advanced precision and customisation during key steps of surgery. She is proficient in the complete spectrum of refractive procedures, including SMILE, LASIK, Contoura Vision, TransPRK, PRK and Implantable Collamer Lens (ICL) surgery. Her areas of expertise also include the diagnosis and management of glaucoma, helping patients receive individualized treatment and long-term visual care.

An active contributor to ophthalmic research, innovation and education, Dr. Divya has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and presented award-winning research at national and international conferences. Her academic achievements include the International Heroes Award at AIOS 2020, Best Paper Presentation at APAO Bangkok 2019, and multiple awards at the All India Ophthalmological Society conferences. She is committed to advancing ophthalmic knowledge through research, clinical learning and the sharing of expertise with colleagues and trainees. She also serves as an Executive Member of the Delhi Chapter of ISMSICS.
