Dr Mayank Tomar is a highly accomplished ophthalmologist at Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital, specializing in Cornea, Cataract and Refractive surgeries. He has successfully performed over 10,000 procedures with special expertise in topical(injection free) microincision phacoemulsification and premium IOL(Intraocular lens) implantation including Toric IOLs, EDOF and multifocal IOLs with more than 10 years of experience in advanced eye care . He also offers comprehensive laser vision correction solutions such as Trans PRK, LASIK and ICL, helping patients achieve freedom from spectacles.

He completed his MBBS from the prestigious Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore followed by MS residency in Ophthalmology ( Batch Topper). He has completed Fellowship in Comprehensive Ophthalmology followed by Advanced fellowship in Cornea and Phacorefractive services from the famous M M Joshi Eye Institute Hubli,  the leading tertiary eye care center in North Karnataka.

He has been a part of multiple national conferences as a faculty and moderator and has also performed deferred live cataract surgeries. His area of expertise also includes management of dry eye disease, ocular surface disorders, management of keratoconus and performing corneal transplants. With a strong passion for mentoring , he has been a trainer for  budding surgeons in phacoemulsification and SICS. Known for his meticulous approach and patient centric care, he focuses on accurate diagnosis and individualized treatment planning to achieve the best possible visual outcomes.
