Dr. Mitesh Jain graduated from T.N. Medical College and B.Y.L. Nair Charitable Hospital, Mumbai in 2004. He did his Ophthalmic Residency at H.V. Desai Eye Hospital, Pune, following which he pursued Long Term Cornea and Anterior Segment Fellowship at the prestigious L.V. Prasad Eye Institute (L.V.P.E.I.), Hyderabad in 2013. His prime focus is Cataract Surgery, Corneal Transplant, and Refractive Surgery. Dr. Jain has performed numerous cataract surgeries using premium lenses and more than 400 corneal transplants, including anterior and posterior lamellar transplant. He is among the few surgeons to perform keratoprosthesis (a surgery in which the diseased cornea is replaced with an artificial cornea) and stem cell transplant. Dr. Jain has performed numerous refractive surgeries, including Laser-assisted In Situ Keratomileusis (LASIK), Photorefractive Keratectomy (PRK), SMILE and ICL (implantable Collamer lens) surgery. He is highly skilled in managing keratoconus and offers a comprehensive range of treatments including C3R, C3R with Topoguided PRK, CAIRS, DALK, and scleral lens fitting.
