Dr. Prajakta Paritekar Sane is an experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist with over 9 years of expertise in cataract and refractive surgery, along with a special interest in keratoconus management. She completed her MS in Ophthalmology, followed by an IOL Fellowship from Sankara Eye Hospital, Bangalore, and advanced long-term training in Phacoemulsification and Refractive Surgery from Narayana Nethralaya, Bangalore, one of India’s leading eye institutes.

Dr. Prajakta has successfully performed 3000+ cataract surgeries, including advanced phacoemulsification procedures, and is highly experienced in refractive and corneal care. Her expertise in keratoconus management includes modern treatment approaches aimed at improving both visual outcomes and long-term corneal stability.

An academically active ophthalmologist, she has authored and contributed to multiple publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals. Her research work spans areas such as refractive surgery, dry eye disease, keratoconus, ocular surface disorders, cataract surgery outcomes, and IOL calculations.
