About

Dr. Sejal Desai is a highly accomplished Consultant Phaco, Refractive, and Anterior Segment Eye Surgeon with over two decades of extensive clinical and surgical experience. She completed her MBBS (2001) and DOMS (2003) from Baroda Medical College and SSG Hospital, M.S. University, Vadodara. She further pursued advanced training, including a Glaucoma Fellowship at Aravind Eye Hospital, Tirunelveli (2004), and a Paediatric Ophthalmology Observership at Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai (2006).

Dr. Desai began her professional journey at SEWA Rural, Jhagadia (2003–2007), where she served as a Consultant Eye Surgeon and Phaco Trainer. She subsequently worked at Gandhi-Lincoln Hospital, Deesa (2007–2010) and later at Sankara Eye Hospital, Anand (2010–2013). She made significant contributions at Eye-Q Super Speciality Eye Hospitals, Vadodara, where she practiced from 2013 to November 2025 as a Consultant Phaco & Refractive Surgeon.

She is currently associated with Dr. Agarwals Eye Hospital, Vadodara, where she continues her expertise as a Consultant Phaco, Refractive & Anterior Segment Eye Surgeon.

With a strong and diverse surgical background, Dr. Desai has performed:
