Dr. Sujit Gharai is a highly accomplished Retina , Vitreoretinal and Phaco Surgeon with over 25 years of experience in Modern Medicine and more than 22years + of dedicated experience in Retina and Vitreoretinal practice. He completed his MBBS from Medical College Calcutta under Calcutta University , followed by MD (Ophthalmology) & Retina & Uvea Fellowship from the prestigious AIIMS, New Delhi, DNB (Ophthalmology), and Longterm Fellowship in Retina & Vitreous rom LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad. Dr. Gharai previously served as Chief Vitreo-Retinal Consultant at Dr. Agarwal’s Retina Foundation and Senior Vitreo-Retinal Consultant at Disha Eye Hospitals, Kolkata. He is currently associated as
Visiting Consultant with Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital at Salt lake and Kolkata Peerless Branch. An active researcher and academician, he has published numerous scientific papers in national and international journals and has presented research at prestigious conferences including the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO), and Asia-ARVO.
