Dr. Umadevi Jayavelu is a well known Consultant Ophthalmologist with over 15 years of extensive clinical experience across various cities in India. Her clinical expertise is primarily focused on Corneal Refractive Surgeries, Medical Retina, and the specialized management of Keratoconus, making her a trusted name in advanced vision correction and ocular health.
Dr. Umadevi Jayavelu has performed numerous refractive procedures, including advanced Femto LASIK. Her proficiency in Medical Retina is further demonstrated by her performance of over 200 retinal laser procedures and the administration of more than 150 intravitreal injections, including specialized steroid implants.
Dr. Jayavelu earned her MBBS and a Diploma in Ophthalmology, later achieving the prestigious FAICO certification in Refractive Surgery in 2015.
