Fellows begin with clinical evaluation, preoperative workup, and observation of cataract and IOL surgeries, building a strong foundation in patient assessment and surgical planning.
Fellows gain supervised hands-on experience in cataract surgeries, including Phaco, SICS, ECCE and Glued IOL while actively participating in surgical workflows and patient management.
Fellows progress to advanced IOL implantation techniques including Glued IOL, manage complex cataract cases, and participate in outreach camps and academic discussions to strengthen surgical confidence.
