Dr. Priya Vyas

Dr. Priya Vyas is a Consultant Ophthalmologist with strong clinical and surgical exposure in cataract and anterior segment procedures. She completed her MBBS from Sardar Patel Medical College, Bikaner, in 2020 and MS in Ophthalmology from the same institution in 2025. She subsequently gained clinical experience as a Senior Resident at Sardar Patel Medical College, Bikaner, and Government Medical College, Sriganganagar, working in high-volume tertiary-care environments and managing comprehensive ophthalmic conditions. Dr. Priya has extensive cataract surgery experience, expertise in comprehensive retinal evaluation and advanced diagnostic imaging, including optical coherence tomography (OCT), OCT angiography, fundus fluorescein angiography (FFA), ultrawidefield retinal imaging, ultrasonography and detailed fundus examination. Her surgical exposure includes pterygium surgery, ptosis and entropion procedures, ocular trauma management and YAG capsulotomy. She is also experienced in comprehensive anterior and posterior segment evaluation, glaucoma workups, OCT interpretation and fundus imaging. Alongside clinical practice, Dr. Priya has demonstrated a strong interest in research and academic medicine. She has presented a poster on choroidal hemangioma at ROSCON 2023 and a paper on refractive errors and metabolic associations at DOSCON 2024. She is a co-author of a published study on the epidemiology and clinical evaluation of keratoplasty patients and has completed research on the association of physical activity, sedentary lifestyle and digital strain with myopia in adolescents. She has also participated in major ophthalmology conferences and CMEs, including APAO, AIOS and IIRSI. Dr. Priya follows a patient-centred approach built around accurate diagnosis, effective communication and ethical clinical practice. Her strengths include patient counselling, precise surgical hand-eye coordination and effective teamwork in high-volume clinical settings.
