Dr. Ramya Sampath, is a seasoned ophthalmologist with 11 years of experience at Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital in Chennai. Her expertise lies in Refractive Surgery, and is a firm believer that SMILE is the future of this field. She is one of the leading refractive surgeons in India. She has performed over 50,000 refractive surgeries, of which nearly 10,000 surgeries fall under the SMILE procedure. Her passion for Refractive Surgery has led her to achieve many milestones in the field, including being recognized by India Book Records for performing the Maximum number of SMILE Surgeries in a day on October 16, 2021 and earning the title of Maximum number of Refractive Surgeries in a day by an Ophthalmologist from Asia Book of Records, confirmed on August 4, 2022.
