Dr. Puneet is a Gold Medallist MBBS graduate from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, and completed his MD in Ophthalmology from Dr. R.P. Centre, AIIMS, New Delhi. He underwent long-term fellowship training in Oculoplasty and Ocular Oncology at Hyderabad under Dr. Santosh G. Honavar, followed by a fellowship in Ocular Oncology and Ophthalmic Radiation Therapy at The New York Eye Cancer Center, USA, under Dr. Paul T. Finger. An active member of the ophthalmic community, he serves as Executive Member of YOSI and Section Editor for Haryana Journal of Ophthalmology and DOS Times. Recipient of the AIOS International Heroes Award (2024 & 2025) and multiple travel grants (ICMR, ISOO, ECF), he has numerous peer-reviewed publications, seven book chapters, and has been an invited faculty at several national and international conferences.
