Dr. Kumar Saurabh completed his MBBS from Burdwan Medical College and MS in Ophthalmology from the prestigious Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Medical College Kolkata, followed by a two-year clinical vitreoretinal fellowship at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai, where he was recognized as the Best Outgoing Fellow. He specializes in the medical and surgical management of a wide range of retinal disorders, including diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, retinal vein occlusions, retinal tears, and vitreous hemorrhage, and performs advanced retinal laser therapies and complex vitreoretinal surgeries. A strong believer in combining cutting-edge research with individualized patient care, Dr. Saurabh has authored over 150 peer-reviewed publications and has twice received the Honor Award for Peer Review from the Indian Journal of Ophthalmology. He also serves on editorial boards of ophthalmology journals, with key interests in retinal and choroidal imaging.
