Mr. Thanikainathan Arumugam

ABOUT

Thanikainathan Arumugam (a.k.a Thani), brings to the group an experience of around 2 decades across a wide range of Corporate and Strategy matters in his role as Head Company Secretary.

A Qualified Company Secretary and an MBA grad from IIM Trichy, he handles critical matters such as Compliance & Regulatory, Corporate Governance, Fund Raise, Mergers and Acquisitions and manages the secretarial functions of various listed and unlisted entities in the group. 

Having kickstarted his career with TVS group in 2005, he boasts a diverse experience across industries such as Cement and heavy industries, Petrochemicals and Media and Broadcasting, before locking in on Healthcare, an industry that excites him the most, in which he has spent over 6 years. 

Thani enjoys working on complex deals and convoluted transactions. A typical day in Thani’s life starts with breaking down an NDA over breakfast and ending the day with a juicy Investor Agreement. 

Life on the fast lane has taught him to rejoice the finer things – catching the sunrise over the Marina or rejoicing a good ol’ filter Coffee. Catch Thani on a Sunday evening, quizzing with his two sons here at Chennai.
